| I'm sure there is a MIL-SPEC or FED-SPEC for almost every type of steel (tool, stainless, etc.). Wouldn't ANY steel technically be "governmental spec" as long as there was a specification for it? There's a huge difference between ASTM A53 (black, hot-dipped and zinc coated) steel and ASTM A283 (low tensile strenght carbon steel), but both are "governmental spec."
